Vita-D is a high-strength injectable form of vitamin D3. Each 1ml ampoule contains 200,000 IU (5mg) of cholecalciferol, the same form of vitamin D the body makes in skin from sunlight. Made in Korea, it is given by intramuscular injection and is used to correct and prevent vitamin D deficiency, supporting calcium handling, bone mineralisation and immune function – particularly where oral intake or sun exposure is insufficient.

Vita-D is a high-strength vitamin D3 preparation for administration by licensed medical professionals only; it is not for unsupervised self-administration. It is contraindicated in hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria and known hypersensitivity to the components, and should be used with caution in renal impairment.
