Onetox 100U is a Korean botulinum toxin type A brand marketed by JDBIO Co., Ltd. Each single-use vial contains 100 units of botulinum toxin type A as freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder for reconstitution with 0.9% sterile saline. The vial contains a white or light-yellow lyophilisate that dissolves into a transparent solution after reconstitution.

Why this product is different

Onetox is marketed by JDBIO Co., Ltd., a Korean aesthetic injectables marketer. The product is supplied as freeze-dried (lyophilized) botulinum toxin type A in a colourless transparent vial with the standard Korean botulinum toxin formulation — 100 units of botulinum toxin type A stabilized with 0.5 mg human serum albumin and 0.9 mg sodium chloride. The MFDS-approved indication is the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles in adults aged 19–65.

Mechanism of action

Botulinum toxin type A is a presynaptic neuromuscular blocker. Following injection into target muscle, the toxin’s heavy chain binds to specific receptors on motor nerve terminals; the light chain is internalised into the nerve cytoplasm, where it enzymatically cleaves SNAP-25 — a SNARE complex protein required for acetylcholine vesicle fusion at the neuromuscular junction. Without SNAP-25, acetylcholine release into the synaptic cleft is blocked, the motor nerve cannot signal the muscle fibre to contract, and the targeted muscle relaxes. New axon terminals eventually sprout and restore neuromuscular signalling, at which point clinical effect wanes.

What is Onetox 100U?

Onetox 100U is a Korean botulinum toxin type A injectable marketed by JDBIO Co., Ltd. Each single-use vial contains 100 units of botulinum toxin type A as freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder, with 0.5 mg human serum albumin as stabilizer and 0.9 mg sodium chloride. Reconstitution is performed with 0.9% sterile saline before injection.

Who markets Onetox?

Onetox is marketed by JDBIO Co., Ltd., a Korean aesthetic injectables marketer. JDBIO’s Korean botulinum toxin portfolio includes Onetox, Redtox, and Ex-Tox alongside distributed third-party brands.

How is Onetox 100U different from 200U?

Onetox 100U contains 100 units of botulinum toxin type A per vial; the 200U pack contains 200 units. Reconstitution volumes differ accordingly. The active ingredient, manufacturing process, and excipient profile are equivalent across both pack sizes. The 200U pack is positioned for higher-volume multi-zone treatments.

How is Onetox different from Redtox?

Both are Korean freeze-dried botulinum toxin type A products marketed by JDBIO Co., Ltd. Each is supplied with the standard Korean botulinum toxin formulation (100 units botulinum toxin type A, 0.5 mg human serum albumin, 0.9 mg sodium chloride). Onetox and Redtox are separate product brands within the JDBIO portfolio.

How is Onetox different from Bienox?

Onetox is a freeze-dried (lyophilized) botulinum toxin type A marketed by JDBIO. Bienox is a vacuum-dried botulinum toxin type A manufactured by Korea BNC and MFDS-approved in March 2024. The two products use different production processes; units are not interchangeable across brands.

What is the active ingredient profile?

Each Onetox 100U vial contains: Botulinum toxin type A 100 units; Human serum albumin 0.5 mg (stabilizer); Sodium chloride 0.9 mg (isotonic agent).

What does the vial look like?

Onetox is supplied as freeze-dried (lyophilized) white or light-yellow powder in a colourless transparent vial. After reconstitution with 0.9% sterile saline, the solution is clear and colourless. White powder visible at the bottom of the vial is normal product appearance for freeze-dried botulinum toxin.

What is the typical onset and duration?

Onset and duration vary with individual anatomy, muscle mass, metabolism, treatment zone, and dosing strategy. Practitioners can refer to JDBIO product documentation for general expectations specific to the indication.

What are the storage requirements?

Store unopened vials at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Do not freeze. After reconstitution with 0.9% sterile saline, use within 24 hours when stored refrigerated. Discard unused reconstituted product per institutional protocol.

What is the shelf life?

36 months from date of manufacture (unopened, refrigerated at 2–8 °C).

  1. Saffron Miller

I’ve tried Botox and Nabota, but Onetox feels more refined. The purity seems high because I didn’t get any of those tiny post-injection bumps I usually get. My crow’s feet are gone and I still have some expression. Great balance.

  2. Sarah Jenkins

I’ve been using different Korean toxins for a few years now, and Onetox 100u is honestly one of my new favorites. It kicked in way faster than the Nabota I used last time—I saw almost full results on my forehead lines by day three! It reconstitutes so easily and the longevity is really solid so far. It’s definitely a much better value for the price compared to name-brand Botox. Will be buying again.

  3. Grace Harper

I used it on a client with stubborn forehead lines, and we saw movement reduction in 36 hours—way faster than the usual 4-5 days. The 900kDa complex really does limit diffusion; her brows stayed lifted naturally, no drooping. Mixed it with 2.5mL saline, used a 30G needle, and injected 35U total. Client came back at 4 months still looking smooth. For clinics prioritizing speed + precision? This is top-tier.
