Humedix Co., Ltd. (Huons Group) · Republic of Korea
Liztox 200U by Humedix is the higher-unit-count single vial of Humedix’s botulinum toxin type A — 200 units of Clostridium botulinum toxin in lyophilized white powder form for reconstitution. Humedix is part of the Huons Group, one of the established Korean pharmaceutical manufacturers. The 200U format suits multi-zone single-patient sessions, bilateral body-contouring, and multi-patient shared-vial protocols.
Why this product is different
Liztox 200U doubles the units per vial of Liztox 100U — reducing vial count and per-unit cost for larger treatments. The active ingredient, Humedix working strain, freeze-drying process, and excipients are identical to Liztox 100U; only total units per vial differ. The freeze-dried product layer is visibly present in the vial as a white powder cake.
Mechanism of action
Botulinum toxin type A blocks acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction by cleaving SNAP-25. The targeted muscle receives no contraction signal and relaxes. Clinical effect wanes as new axon terminals restore neuromuscular signalling.

Frequently asked questions
Liztox 200U is the 200-unit single-vial pack of Humedix Co., Ltd.’s botulinum toxin type A. Manufacturing process, freeze-drying, and Humedix working strain are identical to Liztox 100U — only the unit count per vial differs.
Clinicians who run multi-zone single-patient sessions, bilateral body-contouring (masseter, calf, platysma), or shared-vial multi-patient protocols. The 200U pack reduces vial count and waste for these workflows compared with multiple 100U vials.
Same active ingredient, same Humedix working strain, same freeze-drying process, same excipients (human albumin and sodium chloride). Only total units per vial differ (200 vs 100). Reconstitution saline volume scales with unit-per-volume preference.
Both are Korean freeze-dried 200U botulinum toxin type A products from different manufacturers. Liztox (Humedix / Huons Group) uses Humedix’s working strain. Botulax (Hugel) uses Hugel’s proprietary CBFC26 strain. Choice depends on practitioner preference and pricing.
Liztox 200U is freeze-dried (visible white powder in the vial). Nabota 200U is vacuum-dried (vial can appear nearly empty). Strains and manufacturers differ. After reconstitution, both produce clear botulinum toxin solutions for injection.
Use 0.9% sterile saline (preservative-free). Inject slowly down the inner vial wall — do not shake. Gently swirl to dissolve. Saline volume scales with unit-per-volume preference. Inspect for clarity before use.
After reconstitution, the solution is typically used within 24 hours when stored at 2–8 °C, per manufacturer recommendation. Same-day use is best clinical practice. Discard any remainder after the recommended window.
Multi-zone single-patient sessions; bilateral body-contouring including masseter, calf, and platysma; full-face plus neck protocols; bilateral axillary hyperhidrosis. Specific application zones and dosing are determined by the treating practitioner.
